Luxury Holidays Travels Private Limited (LHT) was founded in 2004 by Jon Stonham and Ramzi Ali. Jon is the founder of the successful asiahotels.com brand. Ramzi Ali was appointed to run the operations within Sri Lanka and will stay with the company as the only other share holder of the organization along with MAC.
In 2005 Jon sold asiahotels.com to Cendant, a US listed operation with extensive brands in the travel space including Galileo, Orbitz, Ebookers, and HotelClub of which the latter 3 are represented by LHT.
Oct 2008 saw MAC Holdings Private Limited (MAC) acquiring a majority stake of Luxury Holiday Travels (Pvt) Ltd (LHT) from its founders Jon Stonham & Ramzi Ali. With this acquisition of Luxury Holiday Travels, it paved the way to unite our companies and establish a strong single-source travel and tour company uniquely qualified to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions both in Sri Lanka and exotic foreign shores to accommodate personalized needs of our valued customers, creating a unique blend of travel and pleasure. Our strong association with all industry stake holders gives us the assurance to assist travelers with many services both here in Sri Lanka as well as at destination. The clientele of Luxury Holidays include a wide range of clients who are both corporate and individual customers, looking not only for a unique experience when travelling but a safe and comfortable stay be it business…or pleasure.
